Carol Kennedy

Carol is originally a native New Yorker and relocated to North Carolina in 2015 when she and her husband became empty nesters. She grew up in a small town on Long Island just 18 miles outside of Manhattan. Her husband Matt, of 37 years, is a retired NYC Firefighter and they have three grown children, one grandson and more grandbabies on the way. She comes from a large family and a long line of proud military veterans and first responders including two sons who served in the US Navy and her 91 year old Dad who is a combat Marine Corp veteran and two-time recipient of the Purple Heart. Carol and her husband live in Rockwell, NC on a 12 acre farm which they affectionately call their "little piece of heaven on earth" with horses, chickens, ducks and Maggie their sweet black lab rescue. They are blessed to have the best of both worlds with the serenity of living in the country and easy access to city life and all that Uptown Charlotte has to offer.
Carol had a very successful career in the financial investment industry for over 25 years. She worked on Wall Street for a number of years and then shifted to an investment firm closer to home when she became a Mom. She always had a passion for all things that make a house a home and studied interior design and antiques along side her full time career while raising children. That passion and her personal experiences buying and selling homes led to a career in real estate. Carol is passionate about assisting clients with finding their "little piece of heaven on earth".
